What you’ll do:


We are looking for passionate and committed engineers to join our embedded software team. The embedded software team creates the software that powers our high performance Access Points.  Members of this team have the opportunity to design and development of multi-tier, Cloud-based wireless network monitoring and configuration applications. Working as a key member of a small, agile team, the engineer will create new components, as well as maintain existing components, estimate work, and resolve technical issues.

Desired knowledge or experience:

  • Design and implementation of enterprise class commercial software and / or large scale web applications.
  • Strong understanding of object oriented methodologies and design patterns.
  • Java, Spring, Hibernate, and related technologies.
  • REST Web Services.
  • Relational databases.
  • Linux operating system.

What would additionally help you be successful?

  • Agile methodologies and Scrum.
  • JUnit, JMock (or equivalent), JBehave.
  • Wireless networking.
  • NoSQL databases, such as Cassandra.
  • Distributed computing, such as Hadoop or Apache Spark.
  • Git, Maven
