About this Position

Title: Customer and Field Engagement Program Manager 

Location: San Francisco, CA 

 

Description:

 

We are seeking a competent Program Manager to undertake a variety of programs and project management tasks. You will help in planning and organizing programs and activities as well as carry out important operational duties. We are seeking an experienced program manager with event experience who can not only manage event logistics and budget, but understands the event's role in the "big picture" and is able to drive interrelated activities and lead cross-functional teams to maximize the event's impact on our business.

 

To be an excellent program manager, you must be organized and detail-oriented, comfortable working with diverse teams. If you have further skills in research, budgeting, scheduling, assessment, interpersonal communications, we would like to talk to you.

 

The goal will be to facilitate the effective management of programs according to the organization’s standards.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and execute integrated project plan and logistics for two key events – Sales Kick Off and Partner Summit-, as well as Executive Briefing Center’s on the Road, from initial planning to on-site event management and post event follow up. This includes overall internal alignment on goals, onsite experience, shipping, staffing, data cleansing, archiving, on-site logistics, and pre- and post-event campaigns.
  • Partner with the Executive Briefing Center Manager to formalize the EBC on the Road program and help manage the overall process and execution events on the road.
  • Partner with the Sales Kick Off Event owner to support the planning, project management and execution of the SKO event.
  • Partner with the Partner Summit Event owner to support the planning, project management and execution of Partner Summit.
  • Schedule and organize meetings/events for program team and maintain team meeting agenda
  • Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions, evaluate results against goals, and generate learnings for improvement.
  • Help build positive relations within the team and external vendors
  • Own tracking activities, if assigned by Event Owner
  • Ensure implementation of policies and practices
  • Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations etc.)
  • Keep updated records and create reports or proposals for all events.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 10+ years of related experience with demonstrated ability to assess, improve, and execute integration
  • Ability to create program goals, messaging, communications, and overall event plans
  • Proven experience as program manager or relevant position
  • Excellent budgeting and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to travel to event location specific to each program assigned.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping and reporting
  • Strong strategic and tactical communication planning and execution skills
  • Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to work with diversity and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and efficient
  • BS/BA in business administration or relevant field
