Job Description:

 

The Education Sales Representative (ESR) will be responsible for maintaining post-sales relationships with existing Riverbed training customers while providing sales support to field sales organizations in order to drive incremental training sales growth.



Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing training credit backlog within a region
  • Proactively ensuring all training credits have a supporting plan to avoid training credit expirations
  • Provide follow-up point of contact support to Riverbed clients for training needs after initial sale
  • Effectively position the value and need for training and certification with internal and external customers
  • Present and articulate training course outlines, descriptions, and provide overall guidance on our full curriculum portfolio
  • Develop learning success plans specific to customer’s enterprise training needs around the Riverbed product portfolio
  • Respond with urgency and professionalism to inbound leads from various sources to qualify for business potential
  • Work directly with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to achieve goals


Qualifications:

  • BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the IT industry
  • Superb communication skills and ability to interact with all levels or organizations
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed
  • Experience using salesforce.com is a plus
