About this Position

Title: Sales System Analyst - Salesforce 
Location: San Francisco, CA
 
 

Riverbed is looking for a Sales Systems Analyst to join the Worldwide Sales Operations team. This role is part of the Sales Systems and Process team working cross functionally with Sales, Finance, Manufacturing and IT in order to maintain, support and enhance processes and systems required to enable an efficient and effective sales organization. This position is expected to identify/analyze business process and system improvement opportunities, and work with IT on implementation. This position reports to the Director, Sales Systems & Process.
 
Responsibilities 
 

Process and Systems support

  • Work directly with business departments to analyze Sales Business Process gaps, system issues, identify root cause, end to end impact; and partner with IT on solutions and resolution. Salesforce.com is one of the key applications
  • Manage enhancements for Sales and Sales Operations. Manage the request, approval and prioritization process
  • Manages end-to-end delivery of enhancements. Designs optimal systems configurations for enhancements
  • Designs optimal systems configurations for enhancements, specifically SFDC

Business Requirements Analysis

  • Participates in requirements gathering by documenting requirements, process models and functional designs
  • In collaboration with business teams and IT, responsible for solution design and documentation for enhancements

Stakeholder Management

  • Participates in stakeholder communications preparation and execution, status reporting by preparing materials, facilitating sessions and documenting outcomes

Testing & Test Design

  • Understands the business problem and technical design, and develops test cases in alignment with business teams and IT

Training and Change Management

  • Provides support in creating and maintaining materials for SME training
  • Designs optimal systems configurations for enhancements

 

 

 

Qualifications 

 

  • SFDC admin certification required
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Design and implementation experience across SalesForce.com and related systems a plus.
  • 2 or more years’ experience in a Business Systems Analyst role
  • Strong analytical skills in analyzing complex problems, processes, and systems to propose solutions
  • Great business facing skills, understanding of sales and marketing business needs that drive systems requirements
  • Ability to document interfaces and data flows
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and technology
  • Experience with Project Management tools and methodology a plus
