About this Position

Title:  Major Account Executive

Location: NYC Metro Area (remote/home office)

 

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Manage the strategic selling cycle for 20+ high profile “Fortune 500” accounts.
  • Responsible for meeting aggressive sales quotas and driving revenue goals.
  • Presenting our Riverbed Application Performance Platform to high level senior management and other company team members proposing the appropriate value proposition.
  • Work with strategic partners, resellers, and system integration partners promoting the sales of Riverbed IT performance portfolio.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of industry experience.
  • Skills in selling high-end software or hardware solutions, preferably in the data storage, networking, caching or systems software areas, to large, Fortune 500 type accounts.
  • Superb communication skills and ability to interact with all levels or organizations.
  • Track record of exceeding quotas year after year.
  • Exceptional skills in sales presentation.
  • Reside in the targeted geography with local relationships.
  • Good working experience with key local resellers and experience establishing and fostering strong Channel Partner relationships.
  • Skills in using salesforce.com.
