The Senior Director, Demand Generation will be responsible for Riverbed’s worldwide digital demand generation strategy, execution and metrics. We are looking for a results-oriented leader with proven expertise in leveraging multiple digital channels to drive awareness and lead generation efforts at scale.

 

Experience with planning and executing multichannel digital campaigns across global audiences and languages is required.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and execution of digital demand generation and awareness programs for Riverbed globally.
  • Develop, execute and manage the global digital marketing plan, budget and KPIs.
  • Manage a global team responsible for driving integrated digital campaigns across paid search, display, content syndication, digital media, webinars, email marketing and other digital tactics.
  • Optimize and implement best practices across all digital marketing programs with a focus on driving new customer acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
  • Own the metrics stack for all global digital efforts, including lead generation, conversion rates, pipeline generation and contribution to bookings.
  • Partner closely with Field Marketing teams to brief them on digital campaigns, ensure successful handoff across waterfall stages, and optimize conversion metrics.
  • Define, track and report on performance metrics. Continually optimize campaign performance.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and incremental business growth potential and develop business cases.

 

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • Extensive digital marketing experience in B2B tech.
  • Demonstrated success creating and executing multichannel digital acquisition programs leveraging content syndication, paid search, display, webinars, etc.
  • “Player/coach” manager who is willing to roll up his/her sleeves to get the job done. Ability to operate and excel at strategic as well as tactical levels.
  • Strong track record in performance analytics and making data-driven decisions to continually optimize and drive the customer acquisition funnel.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, both at the executive level and with peers and cross-functional teams. Can clearly articulate ideas, frame problems and offer solutions.
  • Strong leadership track record with ability to partner effectively with other Marketing teams including web marketing, field marketing, solutions and product marketing.
  • Strong presentation, problem-solving, analytical, and budget management skills.
  • Experience managing and mentoring teams.
