About this Position




Title:  Enterprise Sales Executive

Location:  Orange, Co



Job Requirements: 


The Enterprise Sales Executive will work within a defined geography and in conjunction with Riverbed’s generalist sales executives to sell Riverbed’s Hyper-converged appliance to a variety of midsize and large enterprise accounts. This position will carry a discrete quota for sales.


The ideal candidate will have:

Must have a track record selling high-end software, storage or hardware solutions, preferably in the data storage, networking, caching or systems software areas, to mid-size and large enterprise companies


  • Experience in Networking/Infrastructure sales side of the business
  • Individual must possess strategic account management experience.
  • superb communication skills and ability to interact with all levels or organizations.
  • Proven track record partnering with an SE to run a book of business
  • Solid understanding of 2 Tier distribution Channel model
  • Possessing experience with an approach of complete accountability…. takes responsibility for all aspects of an account, even through there is, at times, a need for delegation
  • An understanding of Riverbed’s past success and future plans to be able to articulate the future
  • Examples of complete customer relationships …. Executive, Manager/director, Procurement within book of business at current organization
  • Experience working within an extended sales team with demonstrable success at driving deals to conclusion.
  • Verifiable track record of exceeding quotas year after year
  • Exceptional sales presentation skills are mandatory
  • Resides in the targeted geography w/local relationships
  • Good working experience with key local resellers and experience establishing and fostering strong Channel Partner relationships
  • Experience using SalesForce.com is required.


Education and Work Experience: 

  • Bachelor Degree, MBA preferred
    • 3-7+ years of industry experience
