    The Senior Director, Digital Marketing will be responsible for Riverbed’s global digital marketing strategy and execution. We are looking for a results-oriented leader with proven expertise in leveraging multiple digital channels including paid search, display, content syndication, webinars, email, and other tactics, to drive awareness and lead generation efforts at scale globally.


    This role will work across functional teams and regional stakeholders to build integrated digital plans that drive audience engagement and meet pipeline targets.




    • Define and manage Riverbed’s digital marketing strategy. Lead the strategy and execution of digital marketing programs to drive awareness and demand generation globally.
    • Develop, execute and manage the global digital marketing plan, budget and KPIs.
    • Manage a global team responsible for driving digital marketing efforts across paid search, display, content syndication, digital media, webinars, email marketing and other tactics.
    • Partner effectively with other functional teams to build integrated plans (campaigns, web marketing, social media marketing, solutions marketing, product marketing and field marketing).
    • Implement best practices across all digital marketing programs with a focus on driving new customer acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
    • Maintain a data-first approach to continually measure and optimize performance, improve conversion and ROI.
    • Conduct ongoing competitive research to help inform digital strategies. Keep up to date on latest trends and best practices in digital marketing.
    • Manage relationships with agencies, vendors and media providers


    Job Requirements/Qualifications

    • Extensive digital marketing experience in B2B tech.
    • Demonstrated success creating and executing multichannel digital programs leveraging content syndication, paid search, display advertising and media, webinars, email marketing, etc.
    • Strong analytical skills, and proven track record in making data-driven decisions to continually optimize performance and determine future investments.
    • “Player/coach” manager who is willing to roll up his/her sleeves to get the job done. Ability to operate and excel at strategic as well as tactical levels.
    • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, both at the executive level and with peers and cross-functional teams. Can clearly articulate ideas, frame problems and offer solutions.
    • Strong presentation, problem-solving, analytical, and budget management skills.
    • Experience managing and mentoring teams.
