    Title: Riverbed Learning and Development Training Coordinator, San Francisco

    We are seeking a customer focused, motivated, detailed and solutions oriented L&D Training Coordinator, based in our beautiful San Francisco Headquarters to work with our awesome small team. Under general supervision, this position requires an individual who is self-directed, a problem solver, detail oriented, well organized, has great verbal and written communication skills, has a knack for technology, works well with others, works well under pressure and has a great personal brand. This position is located at our San Francisco headquarters. The Training Coordinator will report to the L&D Operations Manager.

     

     

    Location: San Francisco, CA

     

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Schedule live instructor-led virtual and onsite courses in the employee Learning Management System
    • Support delivery of training, including reserving rooms at global locations, attendance tracking in LMS, coordinating with trainers, coordinating with caterers for meal, providing sign-in sheets, collect training evaluations, etc.
    • Track status/completions of employee development paths for recognition of completion
    • Shipping/receiving of course materials and maintaining inventory
    • Support post-delivery of courses by updating completions in LMS, summarizing surveys, following up with instructor/vendors to close out classes
    • Track budget for food orders
    • Provide status reports at weekly team meetings
    • Create reports from LMS on attendance and other metrics for department reporting needs
    • Market trainings internally to the company based on location for both on-site and virtual trainings
    • Distribute pre-course information including but not limited to log-in information for webinars, class rosters for instructors, pre-work reminders for students.
    • Maintain information on intranet, including calendars, learning tracks, course descriptions, etc.
    • Update Learning and Development intranet SharePoint pages
    • Gather evaluations from facilitators and summarize feedback from trainees after each training session
    • Create and maintain annual education calendar
    • Respond to employee training emails
    • Manage and maintain local training room, equipment and supply rooms
    • Look for opportunities to improve processes to delivery better customer service/satisfaction
    • Facilitates new employee onboarding
    • Collaborate and partner with L&D and HR team members on department initiatives
    • Main point of contact for employee Office Yoga

     

    Qualifications:

    • Proficiency or technical ability to learn Learning Management System  
    • Event Planning, Management and Execution
    • Detailed-oriented to handle many high priority tasks in a timely manner
    • Motivated, self-driven
    • Program/Project Management
    • Vendor Management
    • Excellent written and verbal skills
    • Problem Solving skills
    • Extraordinary productivity and time management skills
    • Ability to coordinate offsite activities (domestic & international)
    • Have exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Be systems- and computer-savvy --- must be well versed with MS Office (advanced Excel functions, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), knowledge of SumTotal Learning Management System or other CRM applications a plus.
    • Support classroom technical needs (LCD projectors, connecting laptops)
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Previous work experience in a high-tech environment desired
    • Familiar with Workday a plus
