    About this Position

    Title: Senior Manager, Partner Program Operations

     

    Location: San Francisco, CA 

     

    The Position

    The Senior Manager of Partner Program Operations will play a critical role in supporting channel program management and field channel sales in driving business strategies and operational goals.  Responsibilities include managing execution of the partner program, including partner funds and partner discounts. It also includes working both strategically and tactically, advising and executing on the appropriate methodologies that will enable channel sales to achieve their short and long-term objectives as it relates to channel sales revenues, profit and market development.

    Reporting Relationships

    The Senior Manager of Channel Program Operations will report to the Director, Global Channel Operations, and will be a key contributor of the Global Channel Team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Program Operations Management: Management of partner program execution including:

     

    • Development and documentation of partner program operational processes
    • Program compliance and rebate eligibility
    • Program benefits including administration of programmatic discounts in the system and rebates for all partner types
    • Marketing Development Fund (MDF) and Business Investment Fund (BIF) program management
    • Work with Channel Marketing team do define the partner MDF ROI process
    • Manage two program administrators who manage the day to day functions of the program benefits including administration of Marketing Development Fund (MDF) and Business Investment Fund (BIF) requests, approvals and claim

     

    • Partner Process/Project Management: Management of improvements to partner processes including:

     

    • Project manage business requirements specific for partners including establishing requirements, documenting feature requests, cross-functional meetings, and driving through to completion and delivery of program metrics with our sales operations and IT teams.
    • Partner with the Sales Systems team to refine SFDC design related to channel initiatives
    • Coordinate documentation and communication on channel process, policies and procedures to support the channel road map.

     

     Background & Experience

    The objective is to recruit an experienced professional who will take ownership and responsibility for the operational side of partner program operations management, provide leadership and contribute effective management processes, foster a positive and energetic work atmosphere, and maintain a cross functional relationship between the Channel organization, Channel Sales, Channel Marketing, Finance, IT and the rest of the company.
