    About this Position

    Title: Senior Manager, Channel Go-to-Market Programs


    Location: San Francisco, CA 


    The Senior Manager, Channel Go-to-Market Programs will work closely with the product business unit and channel sales leadership globally to build out a partner go-to-market strategy and execution plan to support the portfolio roadmap and channel sales targets. This is a highly cross-functional role that will require cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority to drive transformational change in the company and growth in the channel.



    Key Accountabilities:

    • Align with the product business unit leadership to understand the portfolio direction and make sure that partners are engaged, enabled, and accelerating around the portfolio
    • Serve as the representative of global channels on product launches and make sure partners have the necessary collateral and support to bring those products to market
    • Work with the product teams, professional services, channel sales  & sales engineering teams to identify repeatable Managed Service offerings that can provide growth opportunities for partners and build out a scalable activation plan for enabling partners around these offerings
    • Be a change agent, to help evolve Riverbed’s programs, policies, and processes to enable frictionless selling through the channel and ease of doing business with our partners.
    • Understand the market opportunity, Riverbed strategy Globally & each regional strategy as it pertains to growing Riverbed’s business through the channel
    • Identify key enablement requirements for assigned part of the portfolio and work with the necessary stakeholders and subject matter experts to build out required enablement vehicles.
    • Own channel initiatives aligned to assigned part of the portfolio from initiative creation to execution



    Required Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree; (MBA a plus)
    • 5-10 Years Experience in Channel Sales, Channel Programs, or Partner Marketing Role
    • Familiarity with Network Performance Management (NPM), Application Performance Management (APM), or SD-WAN Technologies a plus
    • Product Management or Product Marketing Experience a plus
    • Ability to translate technology messaging to business value messaging
    • Comfort level working with data and making business decisions based on data
    • Familiarity with Managed Service and “Born in the Cloud” partner business models
    • Thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment
