    About this Position

    Title: Manager, Channel Sales Operations and Systems

    Location: US Open - remote

    The Position:This individual will help define the requirements and project manage the development of key partner tools, systems and programs. Included in this role is ownership of channel process, data and settings in Riverbed Salesforce. The ideal candidate is a solution-oriented individual who has strong partner systems and data analytics skills. They are experienced in skillfully managing projects with cross-functional teams including channel sales, sales operations and IT.

    Reporting Relationships:

    The Manager, Channel Sales Operations and Systems is a position at Riverbed, reporting to the Director of Global Channel Operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible, in collaboration with sales systems and IT team, for implementing all changes required by channel in Salesforce
    • Maintain current processes and implement improvements to enhance partner experience, increase partner autonomy and accelerate sales cycles
    • Identify, track and resolve systems and reporting issues related to channel business
    • Manage channel systems projects through all phases of the development cycle; from analysis, modeling, and design through implementation and tracking metrics for success and systems evolution
    • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, partners, and field teams to collect requirements, synthesize inputs and put a plan in place
    • Track and resolve system issues and enhancements requested by channel
    • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on integrations to other systems from/to Salesforce
    • Define/refine and document requirements and scope for operational execution
    • Facilitate adequate channel sales reporting to the field to ensure the business has information at their disposal to make decisions
    • Coordinate communication and enablement on policies and procedures to support the channel road map
    • Provide additional support on overall partner data and systems
    • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.

     Background & Experience:

    The objective is to recruit an experienced professional who will take ownership and responsibility for the operational side of partner program operations management, provide leadership and contribute effective management processes, foster a positive and energetic work atmosphere, and maintain a cross functional relationship between the Channel organization, Channel Sales, Channel Marketing, Finance, IT and the rest of the company.

    • Minimum 5-7 years working in Salesforce supporting channel sales or channel programs
    • Experience building & leading global projects from ideation to incubation through execution
