    About this Position

    Position: Inside Sales Representative - Commercial 

    Location: Austin

     

    Responsibilities:  

     

    • Work closely with channel partners to find opportunities
    • Build relationships with end customers and channel partners
    • Prospect, qualify and deliver leads to the sales organization
    • Sell or introduce represented products to established clients, in close conjunction with an outside sales representative.
    • Outbound and inbound account management.
    • Manage all opportunities within SalesForce CRM
    • Work with Field sales team to develop territory
    • Maintain and expand the database of prospects of the organization.
    • Identify decision makers amongst the targeted leads in order to initiate sales process.
    • Participate fully in product training sessions, meetings, skills training and professional development classes.
    • Meet minimum talk time and outbound prospecting requirements
    • Set appointments for Field resources
    • Create and provide reports and ensure frequent communication on prospect accounts
    • Effectively articulate the value of hardware and software to both technical and non-technical buyers
    • Manage and document the details of the sales cycle in Salesforce.com
    • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.

     

    Experience:

    • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in a Sales role within Telecommunications, Networking or Software/Hardware industry
    • Application Management or related IT specific software/hardware sales experience is a plus
    • Experience with prospecting and growing an ecosystem
    • Experience working with Channel Partners preferred
    • Experience using SalesForce.com or similar tool required

     

     

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    Training, License, Certification Requirements:

     

    • Completed courses in strategic sales training preferred
